Hello there! Before you continue down, there’s a lot of useful information in the article that may answer any questions you have about this dish. Enjoy!

Well, everyone, I have a confession to make. To create this dish, I went to the supermarket and purchased a box of Lucky Charms. In theory, it would have been wiser to buy said box on the day I intended to make these cereal pops, but I have to be a planner.

I ate the whole box of cereal instead of cooking them. To be fair, Lucky Charms is my favorite cereal, and it took me many days to finish the box. That’s hardly a very good defense, is it? I kept thinking, yeah, there’s still plenty to make them, but I don’t need that much. Sheesh. Isn’t denial frightening?

However, I had to return to the shop, my head down in shame, and purchase another package. I haven’t even mentioned the worst part: the first box I purchased was a family size package. People, I’m out of control.

I guess I could have ordered some kind of healthy cereal and not eaten it at all, but what would be the point? Do you know what happens to your mouth when you eat a whole box of Lucky Charms in a matter of days? It will be destroyeddeeestroyed.

Well, enough of that. You are now aware of my most humiliating secret. At the very least, it’s the most humiliating secret this year. The Lucky Charms White Chocolate Cereal Pops are next.

I knew St. Patrick’s Day was approaching and that I wanted to paint something related, so it simply occurred to me. As I already said, Lucky Charms is my favorite cereal, so it was the first thing that sprang to me, and what could make Lucky Charms even better? What about marshmallows with white chocolate?

These babies are really simple to create, but they may be messy. Get the youngsters involved; they like getting their hands dirty.

They are comparable to Rice Krispie Treats but on a far other level. Melting the butter, marshmallows, and vanilla gives a lot of flavor. In addition, white chocolateyum!

The technique is a bit different from your typical Rice Krispie Treat technique.

Here’s how to make the Lucky Charms White Chocolate Cereal Pops:

In a large mixing bowl, combine six cups of Lucky Charms cereal.

The next step is to melt four tablespoons of butter (stick) in a pot over medium heat.

Melt one cup of white chocolate chips with the butter. It’s not going to be pretty. It’s fine.

After the chocolate is almost melted, add a 10 oz. bag of micro marshmallows. Continue to whisk until everything is melted. That will take some time. Stir in a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Pour it over your cereal.

Here is when things get nasty. Try to stir it with a spoon as much as you can, but ultimately you’ll have to get your hands in there.

Here’s a tip: put some shortening all over your hands before you start mixing. As I already said, children would like this section.

You may either mash this mixture into a 13 x 9 inch glass pan, let it firm up, and then cut it into cereal pops, like I did.

Just roll the mixture into balls to produce cereal pops. I attempted to roll mine little larger than a cake pop. While rolling them, try to compress them slightly in your palm. Don’t crush them; instead, compress them slightly. Place them on a tray lined with waxed or parchment paper.

You may finish them in a variety of ways. Take some popsicle sticks and dip them in melted white chocolate to create cereal pops.

Then place that end into the cereal ball and set it aside to set up.

Dip the top of the cereal pop in the melted white chocolate after it has hardened a little.

Just place the cereal pops in some foam to allow them to solidify.

The next thing you can do is put them in cupcake wrappers. Just dip one end in melted white chocolate, then the other.

Just press the cereal ball into the cupcake liner. The melting chocolate will help it stay put.

When you don’t have popsicle sticks, this is a simple method to create ones.
